Really, if you're in a "burlesque dance troupe" called The Satanic Sluts, you don't have much right to complain when someone tells your granddad that you've shagged Russell Brand, even if it is on the radio.
I understand the need not to encourage young people to harass one another on the phone but the BBC are so frightened of criticism they're strangling their ability to take any risks whatsoever.

You know, I was just about to write a blog post saying exactly the same thing. I'm finding it extraordinarily difficult to bring myself to care in any way shape or form about this.
I have to say, the ridiculous forure the BBC are making is making me care a lot less.

Well, having actually listened to the radio show in question I don't remember that being said...nor is it in the many transcripts of the show...
